Japanese Air Forces attempt interception of Russian jet

The Japanese Air Forces have been scrambled to intercept a Russian combat jet, ITAR-TASS reports.The jet, according to Japan, was detected near the Oki Islands. It was flying south-west along the western coast of the Japanese archipelago and made a U-turn at the Tsushima Strait.Japan emphasized that no violation of its aerospace had been registered.
