Russia hopes West will understand situation in Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a meeting with his Cypriot counterpart Ioannis Kasoulides and said that Moscow hoped European partners would accept the situation in Ukraine, Crimea and around it, ITAR-TASS reports.

The minister added that he will discuss bilateral relations with Kasoulides and hear his opinion about the situation.
