Turkish delegation visits flood-stricken regions of Pakistan

disaster. Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan's wife, Emine Erdogan,
is supporting the program of aiding Pakistan. She went to Pakistan to
deliver funds and medicine collected in Turkey.
Emine Erdogan was assisted by her daughter, Siumeye Erdogan, state
minister and the head of the Turkish delegation for negotiations with
EU, Egemen Bagysh, and state minister Selma Alie Kavaf. First of all
the delegation from Islamabad, which arrived in Hyurriet region,
visited the tent of psychological and social support, TRT reports.
Keys to 120 prefabricated houses built by the Turkish society of the
Red Crescent were distributed. Emine will meet President Afif Ali
Zardari and Premier Yousaf Raza Gilani. She will also fly over the
flood-stricken regions in a helicopter.
