EU condemns Ukraine's Right Sector

EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton says she condemns the recent moves by Ukraine's RIght Sector nationalist group. Activists of Right Sector recently tried to storm the building of the Ukrainian Parliament, demanding the resignation of Interior Minister Arsen Avakov.

In her statement, the European Commissioner condemned the “pressure by activists of Right Sector who have surrounded the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.” According to Ashton this intimidation stands against all “democratic principles and rule of law.”
