Municipal elections finish in Turkey

The municipal elections finished in Turkey on Sunday night. Electoral commissions are now counting the votes. The Turkish people voted for governors, mayors, members of local legislatures and municipal leaders.

There are over 52 million registered voters in the country. 26 political parties took part in the campaign.
