North Ossetia demands Netherlands to return Scythian gold to Crimea

North Ossetian Head Taymuraz Masurov has sent a letter to Ambassador of the Netherlands Ron Van Dartel demanding the Netherlands to return Scythian gold from five Crimean museums. The gold is currently kept at the Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam, ITAR-TASS reports.

He reminded that European scientists had proven the Alan-Ossetian origin of the gold.

Russian Presidential Representative for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy demanded return of the gold.
