Russia and Syria discuss ongoing crisis

Russia's Envoy to the Middle East, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riad Haddad have discussed the ongoing civil war in the country.

The parties focused on a possible resumption of the government's talks with the opposition in Geneva and the recent summit of the Arab League held in el-Kuwait on March 25-26, RIA Novosti reports.
