Berti Vogts named special advisor to US national team

Berti Vogts (Germany), coach of the Azerbaijani national team, will be the special advisor of Jurgen Klinsmann, head coach of the US national team. He will assist in making training plans, scout reports, study of competitors’ matches, Sovetsky Sport reports.The US will play Ghana, Germany and Portugal in the group stage.Klinnsman became champion of Euro 1996 under supervision of Vogts. The US and Azerbaijan will play a friendly match in San Francisco on March 27.
