Privatized oil refinery in Batumi will not change sphere of operations

The oil refinery of Batumi will continue operating as an oil refinery
terminal after being purchased, Minister of Economy and Stable
Development Vera Kobalia said. The refinery will open soon and provide
work for many locals. It will be an ecologically clean terminal.

The oil refinery was sold at an auction on September 2nd for $15
million to 'Batumi Petrol'.
