Pakistani militants release Iranian border guards
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaJeish Al-Adl, an Al Qaeda-related militant organization responsible for kidnapping Iranian border guards in the Sistan and Baluchestan Province of Iran on February 6, has released them, Fars reports.
Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said in mid-February that Tehran would deploy forces to a Pakistani district, unless Islamabad puts an end to terrorists in the area.
The militant organization killed 14 Iranian border guards and injured 6 in Saravan (Sistan and Baluchestan Province) on October 25.
Iran has taken additional security measures in the area and started construction of 120 towers and laying barbed wire on the 300-kilometer border with Pakistan.
