Sanctions against Russia aren't off the table, Merkel says

Addressing attendees of the national convention of the ruling Christian and Democratic Union (CDU), German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that the possibility of imposing additional sanctions against Russia is still being considered by the federal government.

"If the territorial integrity of Ukraine is violated again, we will have to impose economic sanctions against Russia," Merkel is quoted as saying by ITAR-TASS.
