Gerasimov: military solution to Karabakh problem is unacceptable

Today in Baku the Chief of the General Staff of Russia, Army General Valery Gerasimov met with the Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov. At the meeting Gerasimov said that Moscow is committed to a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Hasanov noted that he hopes that "as co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Russia will contribute to a peaceful resolution of this issue."
