Armenia and Turkmenistan to continue cooperation

Armenian and Turkmen Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met in Ashkhabad on April 8 and discussed prospects for cooperation, News.am reports.They exchanged views on bilateral relations, cooperation on the international arena, the activation of economic collaboration, the business forum in Ashkhabad, cooperation in the humanitarian field, the marking of the Armenian Cultural Festival in Turkmenistan and the Turkmen Cultural Festival planned in Armenia in 2015.The sides expressed a readiness to intensify cooperation in fighting terrorism, drug trafficking, illegal migration, trans-border crime and gun smuggling.Sargsyan thanked Berdimuhamedov for the reception and invited him to visit Armenia at any time. The Turkmen leader accepted the invitation.
