Albania gives green light to TAP construction

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama’s government has approved the construction of the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) on the country’s territory, AzerTAG reports.The construction in Albania will start in 2015. It will begin with the modernization and construction of roads and bridges.The TAP will deliver gas from Shah Deniz (Azerbaijan) in the Caspian Sea to European markets. The pipeline will run through Greece, Albania and the Adriatic Sea to Italy and then to Western Europe.
