Azerbaijani president visits Iran

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is now on an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Azerbaijani leader has already met with his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani and is now set to meet Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

According to the deputy head of the Azerbaijani presidential staff, Novruz Mamedov, the visit is proceeding in a "productive atmosphere."
