Russian television broadcasts partly restored in Ukraine

Some providers in the Lugansk Oblast have restored broadcasting Russian channels which were been blocked in Ukraine in March, according to Vladimir Manzhosov, head of the National Council for TV and Radio Broadcasting, RIA Novosti reports.The PACE voted for a resolution yesterday, urging Ukraine to reconsider the broadcast block. Russia called the block of four major Russian channels in Ukraine neglect of interests of Russian-speaking people and pressure on freedom of mass media.
