Chechnya preparing for the Day of Peace

Chechnya is preparing to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the abolition of the anti-terrorist operation in the republic on April 16. Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov ordered the creation of an organizing committee to prepare for the celebrations and has already approved a plan for their implementation.

Mohammed Daudov, the head of the presidential and governmental administration in Chechnya, was appointed the head of the organizing committee. 

It is planned to hold a a festive gathering and a concert in Grozny on April 16, the Day of Peace.
