Criminal case initiated over theft of 20 million rubles in Dagestan

A criminal case has been initiated over the theft of 20 million rubles at the Dagestani State Pedagogic University, ITAR-TASS reports.The acting rector of the University ordered grants of material aid worth 3,000-7,000 rubles to students in November-December 2013. The sum totaled over 23 million rubles.According to the list of students receiving the aid, only 2 million rubles were handed to students. Investigators say the rest was stolen by the staff at the University.
