Ukrainian PM denies attacks on Russian language

Vice Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Koshchulinsky said that a new bill on languages was ready for voting. It was composed by a group of experts headed by ex-President Leonid Kravchuk. The Ukrainian will be the only state language in the country. Other languages will be protected.
The bill will be studied by the Venice Commission, OSCE, Council of Europe and all ethnic minorities. Oleksandr Turchynov, speaker of the parliament and acting president of Ukraine, said that all remarks of Europe will be considered.
