Ukrainian authorities start special operation in Slavyansk

The Ukrainian law-enforcement agencies have started a special operation in the city of Slavyansk in the Donetsk Region of Eastern Ukraine, the country's Interior Minister Arsen Avakov says.

A number of state buildings in the city have been seized by pro-Russian protesters.
