Israeli and Azerbaijani medics discuss children’s psychiatry

Israeli psychiatrists attended the first Israeli-Azerbaijani conference on problems of psychiatry of children and teenagers. They returned from the conference in Baku on April 11.

It was the first such conference, said Jakov Polyakovich, director of the Tirat-Carmel Mental Health Center and head of the Israeli Association of Children and Teenagers’ Psychiatry. Doctors attending the talks exchanged experience on system of treatment, methods, medicaments.

The official believes that such science conferences will become more popular in the future.
