Gerard Depardieu 'feels himself an Armenian'

Prominent French movie star Gerard Depardieu, meeting Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan, has said that being in Armenia he 'feels himself an Armenian', RIA Novosti cites 'Novosti-Armenia'.

"I am happy to be here and it's an honour for me to visit Armenia. Here I do really feel myself an Armenian, said Gerard Depardieu.

The famous actor is visiting Yerevan to attend an international festival. During the meeting with the president of the country he discussed the role of the Armenian diaspora in the social and cultural life of France.
