Azerbaijani minister wants new charters for universities

Azerbaijani Education Minister Mikhail Jabbarov said at a Cabinet session chaired by President Ilham Aliyev that universities needed new charters, terms of reports of rectors and other educational authorities.He noted that the number of teachers trained in universities exceeded the need for teachers twice. Jabbarov added that there were cases of illegal hiring in the education system. The minister plans to organize tests for teachers and diversify their salaries according to skills.
