Mamedov brothers receive awards from Astrakhan governor

Orkhan and Sarkhan Mamedovs have received diplomas and wrist watches for saving two children and their mother from a burning apartment in a nine-storey building. The awards were given by Astrakhan Oblast Governor Alexander Zhilkin, Vesti.az reports.

Adalyat Guseynov, head of the Astrakhan office of the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress, made a speech. Head of the governor’s administration Kanat Shantimirov noted that Azerbaijan was demonstrating an active civil position more and more often.
