Too early to deploy NATO forces in Europe – Rasmussen

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that it was too early to deploy forces in Eastern Europe, ITAR-TASS reports.He noted that no one should doubt the commitment of the Alliance to secure its members. The secretary general reiterated that NATO foreign ministers had met on April 1-2 and decided to further strengthen their collective defenses in the context of the Ukraine crisis.Rasmussen urged the NATO and the EU to cooperate in training their forces and be ready for challenges in the future.
