Putin suggests holding elections in Crimea on September 14

Russian President Vladimir Putin has suggested a bill, according to which local elections should be held in the Crimea on September 14th, ITAR-TASS reports on Wednesday.

Ukraine's Autonomous Republic of the Crimea joined the Russian Federation in March 2014. The move was condemned by the UN, the US and the EU, who voiced support for Ukraine's territorial integrity.
