Turkey’s Chief Ombudsman Mehmet Nihat Ömeroğlu has expressed dissatisfaction over his limited authority, which is not typical for ombudspersons in European countries, Hürriyet Daily News reports on Wednesday.

“Since our authority is limited, our proposals are not taken into consideration either,” he is quoted as saying.
