Karekin II leaves for U.S.

Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II left for the U.S. yesterday, NEWS.am reports. He will hold meetings with representatives of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Within the framework of the visit, Karekin II will conduct an anointment ceremony at the Surb Ghevond Church in Los Angeles, to be held on September 11.

On September 9, His Holiness Karekin II will carry out an anointment ceremony at the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Boston.
