Russia condemns Slavyansk skirmish as provocation

The Russian Foreign Ministry says the recent skirmish in the eastern Ukrainian town of Slavyansk was an act of provocation. According to the Russian authorities, the government in Kyiv is unable to control radical nationalists and extremists.

According to Russian television, the nationalist Right Sector group was involved in the incident.
