Major violations found in investigative detention center N1 in Vladikavkaz

Prosecutors in North Ossetia have found violations of standards at the investigative detention center N1 in Vladikazkaz.

The violations include presence of suspects and convicts in same cells, hygiene and sanitary problems, technical problems in cells for the under-aged, presence of forbidden items (cell phones, battery chargers, inter-cell notes, improvised heating devices, ropes and wires).

Prosecutors demanded all the flaws to be rectified. An administrative case has already been initiated against the chief of the detention center.
