Turkey to spend $1.3 billion on Bosphorus tunnel

The projected automobile tunnel under the Bosphorus Straits, which will connect the European and Asian parts of Istanbul, will cost 1.3 billion US dollars. The tunnel is expected to be fully operational by spring 2015.
