Ukrtransgaz office in Kiev inspected

The Ukrainian police are searching through the main office of Ukrtransgas (operator of Ukrainian gas transportation) in Kiev, said a spokeswoman of the company Yelena Mostitskaya, RIA Novosti reports.The inspection started at 10.30AM. Work at the company was paralyzed until about 11.00AM.Igor Lokhman, chairman of the board of the company, said that negotiations with an investigator for organized crime continued. The company assured that the inspection will not affect the operation of Ukrtransgaz.
