Ukraine stops fresh water supply to Crimea

Ukraine has stopped fresh water supply toI Crimea, which has become a part of the Russian Federation, RIA Novosti reports. According to the Crimean authorities, Ukraine has reduced water supplies so that the peninsula receivesy only 5 percent of the necessary amount.

85 percent of the fresh water in Crimea is provided by Ukraine.
