Turkey has not started selling Iraqi oil
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTurkish Minster for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said that Turkey had not started selling Iraqi oil imported from the Iraqi Kurdistan, Trend reports.
He clarified that Turkey was importing 100,000 barrels of Iraqi oil daily. The territory had reserves of 2.2 million barrels of oil that will be stored until Turkey comes to an agreement with Baghdad.
Yildiz said on January 3, 2014 that the Iraqi Kurdistan started pumping oil to Turkey. It will be shipped to Europe after signing of an agreement with Baghdad.
