List of most popular CIS states and cities of Russian tourists published

The list of top ten favourite cities for Russian tourists goes as follows: Minsk, Tashkent, Almaty, Baku, Kiev, Kishinev, Astana, Bishkek, Yerevan, Lviv, Oktogo.ru reports.

Tbilisi is a popular destination for Russian tourists as well.

Baku is the most expensive city for tourists visiting it on May holidays. An average hotel room costs them about 8,700 rubles a day.

Russian tourists have their longest May holidays in Almaty (Kazakhstan) where they stay in hotels for 5-6 days at a price of about 4,000 rubles a day. A hotel room in Astana costs 5,000 rubles a day, Minsk about 4,500 rubles a day, Bishkek 1,400 rubles a day. Kiev is no longer among the top three most popular CIS cities for tourists.
