Iranian president opens petrochemical complex

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani took part in the opening of the Ilam petrochemical complex yesterday. The president was shown around the facility and informed about its operation.

The Ilam complex produces ethylene for technological machines and heavy polyethylene. It has equipment to extract sulfur.

The complex covers 122 hectares. It is located 18km from Ilam.
