NATO does not plan to help Ukraine

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said today that the Alliance was not planning to send any military aid to Ukraine because the latter was not a member of the organization, ITAR-TASS reports.

He reiterated that Russia must withdraw forces from the Ukrainian border and warned that refusing to do so would be punished with expanded sanctions.

Russian President Vladimir Putin assured that the military were having drills at ranges.
