Victory Parades to start in Vladikavkaz and Grozny
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaVictory Day was established by the Presidium of the USSR Supreme Council on May 8, 1945. Over a thousand soldiers of the 58th Army of the Southern Military District and 500 officers of the law-enforcement structures of North Ossetia will take part in a parade on Freedom Square in Vladikavkaz.
The parade in Vladikavkaz will be the only parade in the North Caucasus to show vehicles. 45 vehicles, including T-90A tanks and Grad valley-fire systems will be demonstrated.
The 58th Army will take part in marking Victory Day in Tskhinvali, the capital of South Ossetia.
The Interior Forces of the Russian Interior Ministry, law enforcers, cadets of the Grozny Suvorov Military School and the free group of the Ministry for Emergencies will march at a parade in Grozny.
