Unidentified assailants open fire at Mariupol locals
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaDenis Pushilin, co-chair of government of the self-proclaimed "Donetsk People's Republic," said that unidentified assailants, presumably the National Guards, were shooting civilians in Mariupol, ITAR-TASS reports.
In his evaluation, the situation in Donetsk was "peaceful." People were laying flowers at WWII memorials, a concert attended by veterans is being performed.
Ukrainian law enforcers stormed Mariupol City Council yesterday. Local rebels set tyres on fire. Two days ago, the Omega unit used gas in an attack on the Council.
