Serzh Sargsyan: May 9 is the celebration of peace

The president of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan has congratulated the citizens of Armenia with the Victory Day. "During the Second World War, hundreds of thousands of Armenians fought in the trenches of justice and freedom, elevating the name and honor of the Armenian soldiers," News-Armenia quotes the president's statement.

He also added that the Victory Day is first of all the celebration of peace.
