Astrakhan Oblast and Azerbaijan activate economic cooperation

Governor of the Astrakhan Oblast Alexander Zhilkin said after a meeting with Ali Gasanov, the head of the section for socio-political affairs at the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, that economic ties with Azerbaijan and joint projects were activating, Trend reports.

The governor thanked Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the Heydar Aliyev Fund for cooperating in joint humanitarian projects.

The Azerbaijani delegation and the governor laid flowers at the Heydar Aliyev memorial, visited the Mechta children’s recreation center built by the Heydar Aliyev Fund and the Heydar Aliyev Middle School N11. Winners of contests related to the Fund received awards.
