Police officer shot dead in Ingushetia

An unidentified assailant shot a police officer dead on the outskirts of Gazi-Yurt (Nazranovsky District, Ingushetia), not far from the Kavkaz Federal Highway at about 4.30AM today.

The shooter was reported carrying an automatic weapon.
