UN chief accepts Brahmi's resignation

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon announced today that he has accepted UN and Arab League Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi's resignation, RIA Novosti reports on Tuesday.

Brahimi is set to leave the office on May 31.
