German vice chancellor called EU policy in Ukraine unwise

Sigmar Gabriel, the German minister for economic affairs and energy and vice chancellor, called the EU policy in Ukraine unwise, RIA Novosti reports.

In his opinion, it had been a mistake to make Ukraine choose between Russia and the EU. At the same time, the vice chancellor added that Russia was responsible for pushing Ukraine towards chaos.
