Bridges collapse in Kabardino-Balkarian villages

A bridge over the River Heu collapsed in Kabardino-Balkaria yesterday, Yuga.ru reports.A bridge was damaged by flooding in Zhemtala. Residents of the Zhanykoy neighborhood have no means of crossing the river. 250 houses were left without a water supply. A 1.5-km road to Zhanykoy is under construction. 14 vehicles are rebuilding it.A bridge in Gerpegezh collapsed, leaving 20 houses and a school disconnected. A gas pipeline was damaged.Heavy rain caused flooding in Aushiger. Reconstruction of damaged buildings there will be accomplished by the end of the day.Kabardino-Balkarian Prime Minister K. Khramov is working with a government commission in the area. The commission is evaluating damage and taking measures to fix any damage.
