Baku and Astana to strengthen security in Caspian Sea

Kazakh Military Attache to Azerbaijan Almazbek Bazarbayev said that Baku and Astana were planning to expand security cooperation in the Caspian Sea. Kazakh Defense Minister Serik Akhmetov visited Azerbaijan a few weeks ago and discussed the initiative, APA reports.The sides have already approved the bilateral documents they needed to sign. Kazakhstan is forming its Naval Forces, building new ships and bases.Kazakh cadets are training at the Azerbaijani Higher Naval School. The Distant Monitoring Center of the Azerbaijani State Maritime Administration coordinates Kazakh ships in international waters.
