Russian rocket crashes

A Russian Proton-M rocket with the Express-AM4R satellite crashed last night, RIA Novosti reports.

The Briz-M upper-stage rocket and the satellite were to separate from the third stage of Proton at 1.52AM. Malfunctioning started on the 540th second of the launch. Proton-M needed 40 seconds more to separate. The rocket probably crashed in Altay or the Pacific Ocean. The heptyl toxic fuel probably burned before reaching the ground.
