Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan to conduct joint geological reconnaissance work

The Societies of petroleum geologists of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have agreed to cooperate. The agreement was signed today after a meeting of the first vice-president of SOCAR (the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan), Khoshbakht Yusifzade and the chairman of the Society of Petroleum Geologists of Kazakhstan, Baltabek Kuandykov, a statement released by SOCAR reads, Trend reports.

In accordance with the agreement, the two sides will conduct joint research and exploration activities as well as consultations.
