Bomb defused at Irganay hydro electric plant

An explosive device was discovered and defused today at the Irganay
hydro electric plant in Dagestan. On the night of September 7-8 a fire
broke out at the plant, RIA Novosti reports, citing a source in the
local police.

The device is not related to the fire. The fire broke out due to
technical problems. The bomb was located at the main hydro generator.
It was based on ammonia nitrate and equal to 4 kg of TNT. It had an
electric detonator.
