South Stream will make Europe independent from Ukrainian gas transit – Medvedev

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that launch of the South Stream gas pipeline will make Europe independent from Ukrainian gas transit, Bloomberg reports.

He reminded that the Nord Stream was a guarantee that Europe will be supplied with gas.
